This morning, my alarm rang at 7am...

That was the 1st time my hp alarm sounded. And I wondered why. I sure didn't set it cos I didnt have to wake at 7am.

Then it hit me.

That little imp sleeping soundly next door did it! She loves playing with my hp and the few times she got her chubby hands on it, she was happily touching the screen to see colorful shapes flying all over.

So yeah, believe it or not... My 11 months old baby set my alarm!

I know it's incredibly adorable but not so when you are dead tired and you had to wake at 7am! hahaha.

Anyway, Megan woke at 8am (very early for her!) and was in such a perfect mood. Her messy gravity-defying hair was the cutest thing! I had to take some shots :)

Berry Tofu!

Megan had tofu for the first time today! She took well to it. Gave it to her on its own so she tastes the full flavor.. then with her pasta. Lastly with a nice rich dessert of blueberry/tofu/banana!

I was trying to get work done when a little head pop out from behind my laptop. Megan loves the buttons on the keyboard.. haha. Arm of our sofa used to be the perfect spot to rest my laptop cos she can't reach. Now she has gotten smart and goes around the sofa :)


The Great Escape....

Some days back she managed to get out of her bumbo chair and crawled to the kitchen to find me!!! The bumbo chair wasn't even overturned. So I had been wondering how on earth did she managed that feat. I got my answer today :P

And watch how she crawled for dear life... hahahha

Today, Megan ate pasta for the 1st time! Bought Bellamy's organic brown rice pasta (Spelt pasta for 10mths is not available). She had it with organic grated cheddar cheese. A wholesome organic meal! ;) For the 1st year, i'm aiming to give her the best foods possible, even if some of them are a tad pricey. It's foundation year and it's important to build a good healthy system. As a mother, that's the least i can do for her. At least i try. So far it's been paying off: Megan hasn't fallen ill once, apart from her bout of UTI when she had a low grade fever for half a night). Yeap, no cold, no cough.. no fever etc. Clean bill of health! Only 1 month plus to go.. let's pray she stays sick-free for her 1st year! *fingers crossed*

So, how did Megan take to pasta?

Hmmm..... pretty okay. It wasn't 'love at first taste' but she ate everything i cooked. Perhaps I added too much cheese and there's that zing to it. *take note*

Teething?

Megan has been waking up at ard 11 - 12 the past few nights. Fuss for abit until mummy or daddy cuddle her for abit then she'd settle back into sleep. Could she been cutting her 3rd tooth? Hopefully soon.. it's about time!

Babies are so clever! At this age (10 months), they catch on really quickly!
Megan is learning things so fast - the omega 3 food I've been feeding her works :P
Zack said I teach her all the nonsense.. hahaha!

Recently, I taught her to "Give" and she learnt that in a jiffy!
The word "Thank You" is her cue to let the object go.
(Gotta teach her manners from young.. haha)
Somehow babies don't like letting go of things.

Alot of character development once she hits 10 months.
She is very aware of her surroundings now.

When she plays around the house, she'd peep back at me every now and then to see if I'm watching her. She gets really excited when she did something right and I praised her - starts clapping *LOL*

Playing 'hide n seek' around the house with her is so fun too. She follows me around - basically crawls after me. So I gotta make sure the floor is spic and span every morning. But she likes my company and is contented to just hang around me. In the kitchen while I prepare food.. or in the living room playing with her toys as I work on the com :)

Walking exercise everyday!

She walks with me holding her hands. Very good at it now! Gonna catch it on video soon!

On the flip side:

She is throwing tantrums now. She voices OUT LOUD when she don't get what she wants. Getting naughty~

Megan is really emerging as her very own person, with her very unique personality. She is turning out to be a very happy joyful baby :)

Oh! This morning when Zack came home from work..
She greeted him with a sound that was VERY CLOSE to 'Hi Daddee" - Seriously!!
