I'm telling you... my baby is a genius

This morning, she went to mummy&daddy's room, crawled up the bed, turned on the aircon, got hold of mummy's hp - got out of screen-saver mode, and went into JewelLust.

So that was where mummy found her: Sprawled on the big bed, comfortably lying against the pillows, aircon on, playing Jewel Lust..

She is 13months old.

Genius right?

Megan you little terror!

Megan is walking all the time (and all over the place!) now and hardly ever crawls. Somehow Mummy is starting to miss watching her crawl :( She looks so cute when she crawls :)

My baby is growing up so fast :)

Tonight, Daddy is working. I got the urge to tuck her in bed with me :P She's been TERRIFIC when it comes to sleep now. Naptime during the day is at least 1 hour, sometimes 1.5 - 2 hours! Just gotta put her in her cot, on the fan and aircon... and she'll doze off. At night, she goes to sleep right after her milk. She will babble to herself then promptly fall asleep. It's been a breeze with her these days. Though I feel guilty for neglecting her during the day at times. Work has been incredibly busy and I gotta get work done, can't wait til night. So I will leave Megan on her own.. walking about, playing with her toys. But she is never far from me. She tends to hover around me :) I hope this busy period will be over soon and Megan will have mummy all to herself all day!

Watching her sometimes and it just amazes me how I can love someone this much.. too much! She's my life and there is NOTHING i wouldn't do for her.

"mum mum mumm..."

babbles Megan all evening! :D - yeah like finally... haha.
(she is babbling that just as I'm typing this.. falling asleep soon :))

She's been making nuances with her tongue like... dada, lala, derder, gaga all along. It is easier. Now she has learnt that moving her lips makes different sounds too! She said "mama" before but seldom and only when she is upset. Hopefully this will mean another range of repertoire.

Guess it wouldn't be long before she calls me "Mameeee!" :)

One tooth might be cutting through soon. Megan has been biting stuff more than usual these days. Was sucking BOTH thumbs hard just now. I gave her a teether and she gnawed on it awhile. Poor girl. But Megan is a strong girl, she hardly fusses throughout teething :)

1y 3w 5d: A new record today: 2 hour nap!!!

and on the day Godpa Marky came to play!
Yes, he came all the way to Punggol to spend some time with Megan :)
"Megan, see how much Godpa Marky dotes on you. How blessed you are!"

Poor Godpa Marky had to wait 2 hours before he could play with Megan. (She had a nap shortly after he arrived) But he had a good 30mins before Megan got sleepy and slouch on his lap.

After dinner, she played peek-a-boo with Daddy. Not Daddy plays with her, but the other way round!

13 Aug: The day Megan kissed a boy!!!

Stunned when she first did it.

Usually we will say, "Kiss kiss", then she will lean in and kiss us on the lips. It was never a voluntary thing. This evening, she was getting acquainted with Keagan (1st meeting) and suddenly she walks up to him, leans in and kiss him on the lips! She then pushed him away.. hahaha! Keagan got scared of her and walked away and Megan kept going after him! Guess she wanted to play but didn't have how to. Keagan loves to hug and they hugged too!

Oh gosh oh gosh....

*Mummy needs to sit down and soothe her headache.*

It is hilarious and really we are very surprised by Megan's behaviour. She hardly has contact with toddlers around her age so thought she will be abit shy. Apparently it's the opposite!!! She is aggressive.. OH NO!!!! Watch out boys! Heartbreaker in the making!

Late afternoon: Mama Nancy is coming!

Rachel Ah Yi and Andrew Yi Chang are coming too! Then all are going to Sembawang for dinner ;)

Mummy gotta plan and cook her meals in advance. Gotta thaw the chicken now!

She gets really giggly and squealy when I pop my head down to meet her and goes, "CHA!" She will do it over and over again.. hahaha.. :)

The things Megan amazes us with these days...
Megan knows how to kiss.... ON THE LIPS!!! When we say, "Kiss..", she leans in and kiss our lips! I was stunned! Where did she learn that from?!! I sure don't remember teaching her that. I was going to teach her to kiss on the cheeks, she just took it a step further.. haha. Though I kissed her on the lips before but it was seldom and far in between. I kiss her cheeks thousands of times a day.. haha. Oh! She must have seen daddy and mummy kissing! Oppssss........ :P
